Isaac is 8 weeks old. He'd becoming quiet a little chunk, he's up to 5lb 2oz!! He's still a tiny guy by many standards but to me he's getting SO big! The bigger he gets the more glad I get he's not still inside! (thats kind of a joke, I'd gladly have him inside me and not in the hospital)
Right now the only hold up on coming home is taking a bottle. He'll take SOME of it MOST of the time. Our goal is for him to take ALL of it ALL the time. But we are getting there...maybe next week.... I was hoping for this weekend but he is progressing a little slower than I had hoped. The biggest problem is that he is stubborn and take alot of effort, so if he gets a nurse that won't go beyond the minimum requirements, he falls short. So pray that God sends Isaac the best, most patient nurses, so that he can get home with his mommy and daddy.

What a big little guy! I'm so glad he's coming along so well.
My grandmother used to be the head nurse in a newborn nursery, in fact she set it up. If they'd had nurseries back then for babies like Isaac, I'm sure she'd have been there and she would have gone above and beyond any requirements. ;)
