Three Years Ago....

Today is the anniversary of when I married my best friend. And that is truly what its all about, friendship. Romance is great, but there are days when you don't feel sexy, the house is a mess, you have no clean clothes, and being intimate is the furtherest thing from your mind. But you can still sit and eat your cereal while watching the morning news, while the dog chases the cat through the messy house, and feel at peace, because you are sitting beside your best friend, and when he kisses you with his morning breath, you just don't care, and you don't care that your hair isn't combed and you aren't wearing makeup.

We decided we were doing gifts this year. We were just going to go "play" in Fort Smith this weekend. Nice dinner, shopping, whatever we wanted. Then he presents me with a gift this morning. I felt pretty crummy, oh well, he said not to worry and he'd buy his own. He got me the DVD, Tin Man. Its the Scifi version of the Wizard of Oz. It was a mini-series on tv and I didn't watch it and have been saying how I'd like to see it, he remembered.
